A Texas teenager who disappeared days before starting college has been found safe, according to the Rowlett Police Department. Camilla Fuentes, 18, was located by detectives on Tuesday.

Fuentes was last seen on Thursday, August 13, when her family believed she was going to work. However, her employer confirmed she was not scheduled to work that day and did not show up for her Friday shift.

Her car was discovered parked at the restaurant where she worked in North Garland. Her phone, keys, Apple Watch, and AirPods were found inside the vehicle. Fuentes also left behind a note, the contents of which have not been disclosed by investigators. Police treated her disappearance as a missing person's case, with no immediate suspicion of foul play.

Fuentes is scheduled to begin her studies in civil engineering at Villanova University in the fall.

Authorities have not yet revealed where or how Fuentes was found.
