Texas Tech Fan Claims Playbook Discovery Before Buffaloes' Loss

A Texas Tech fan has claimed to have found pages from the Colorado Buffaloes' playbook at a hotel bar frequented by the team before their recent matchup. The fan shared details and images on social media, alleging that the discovered documents contained opening plays and team tendencies.

According to reports, the fan posted on an online message board, stating that a group found approximately 25 pages in the hotel bar. These pages reportedly included information on opening plays, red zone strategies, and Texas Tech's tendencies. Subsequent social media posts featured videos showing play sheets that some users claimed matched the first six plays run by Colorado's offense during the game.

While there is no direct evidence suggesting that any member of the Texas Tech coaching staff obtained or reviewed these alleged playbook pages, the Red Raiders secured a dominant 29-7 victory over the Buffaloes. Colorado managed to score on its initial drive of the game, but the Texas Tech defense subsequently controlled the remainder of the contest, forcing four interceptions in the second half.

The incident has drawn attention to the Colorado program, which has struggled in recent weeks. The Buffaloes' loss to Texas Tech marked their third consecutive defeat, and they have been outscored 93-27 over their last three games combined. The team's current record stands at 2-3 for the season.
