Texas Mother Charged After Allegedly Stabbing Husband and Two Young Children
Police responded to an early morning 911 call reporting a domestic disturbance, finding three victims with stab wounds.
A Texas mother is facing attempted capital murder charges after allegedly stabbing her husband and two young children in their home on Tuesday morning. The incident occurred in the early hours of October 6, 2026, when Northlake Police were alerted by a 911 call from the husband.
First responders arrived at the residence on Daylily Drive shortly after 4:30 a.m. and took Holly Flores, 37, into custody. Officers discovered her 34-year-old husband with a stab wound to the head. They also found their three-year-old daughter and 10-month-old son inside the home, both sustaining stab wounds to the chest.
All four individuals were transported to local hospitals. Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford stated that while the extent of their injuries was not immediately clear, all victims are expected to survive. "I don't believe they're life-threatening. They're still in hospital for observation, but I believe they are going to be okay," Crawford said.
Flores has since been released from the hospital and is being held at Denton County Jail. She has been charged with attempted capital murder and aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. The husband and children remain hospitalized with family members at their side. Chief Crawford noted that Flores has not provided authorities with any information regarding the incident, describing her as being in a "stare, just not really saying a whole lot."
