Texas Mother Arrested for Allegedly Stabbing Husband and Two Children
A pre-dawn attack in a Dallas suburb has left a family severely injured and their mother in custody.
A woman is accused of violently attacking her husband and two young children with a knife before sunrise in a Dallas suburb. The incident occurred on October 6, leading to the arrest of Holly Evelyn Flores.
Police responded to a 911 call allegedly made by the husband, Justin Hommel, at approximately 4:30 a.m. Upon arrival, officers discovered Hommel and his children with stab wounds.
Hommel sustained a stab wound to the head and was hospitalized. His two children also suffered stab wounds. All three are reported to be recovering from their injuries.
Neighbors described the family as "picture perfect" and noted that Holly and Justin Hommel had moved to the suburban Dallas community in 2020.
Flores has been arrested and faces charges related to the alleged attack. Further details regarding the circumstances leading up to the incident have not yet been released by authorities.
