Texas Mother Accused of Stabbing Husband and Two Young Children
Holly Leeann Flores faces multiple attempted murder charges following an alleged attack in her Northlake home.
A Northlake, Texas mother, Holly Leeann Flores, 37, has been charged with attempted aggravated capital murder and aggravated assault with a weapon after allegedly stabbing her husband and their two young children on Tuesday morning.
The incident unfolded when Flores' husband called 911 reporting that his wife had a knife and had stabbed him. First responders arrived at the family's residence to find the couple's 10-month-old infant and 3-year-old toddler with stab wounds to the chest area. The husband sustained a stab wound to the head, described as non-life-threatening.
All three victims were transported to local hospitals. Investigators stated that they are expected to recover.
Northlake Police Chief Robert Crawford described the event as "heartbreaking" during a Tuesday press conference.
Records indicate that Northlake Police had responded to the family's home five times since March for welfare concerns.
The investigation into the incident is active and ongoing.
