Texas Man Crashes Car into Kroger to Use Restroom, Police Say
The man faces criminal mischief charges after the Sunday morning incident.
A Texas man was arrested and charged with criminal mischief after allegedly crashing his vehicle into a Kroger grocery store because he needed to use the restroom.
The incident occurred early Sunday morning in Rosenberg, Texas, just before 4:30 a.m., while the store was closed. Police stated the man intentionally drove his vehicle through the front entrance of the building. Images released by the Rosenberg Police Department show the vehicle inside the store with shattered glass and significant damage to the door frames.
Rosenberg Police posted about the incident on Facebook, humorously advising the man to "find a store open for business…to do your business" in the future. The suspect is described as a 60-year-old male.
The crash caused extensive damage to the store, particularly the pharmacy entrance.
