A 34-year-old Texas man has been charged with two counts of assault with bodily injury following an investigation into alleged attacks on homeless and disabled individuals using a high-powered water gun. The incidents, captured by the suspect and posted to TikTok, led to the arrest of Christopher Cayce.

Police allege that Cayce targeted vulnerable people in Houston, dousing them with water from a motorized water gun. Videos circulating online show him driving through the city and spraying individuals standing at bus stops, walking down the street, or sleeping. In one clip, Cayce is seen offering a dollar to a panhandling woman before spraying her with water. Another video depicts him spraying a sleeping homeless person.

Cayce, who reportedly boasted about using the Spyra 4 water blaster, marketed as "the world's strongest water gun," has been the subject of scrutiny after numerous videos of his actions surfaced. Investigators believe many of his victims were homeless and disabled. The Houston Police Department led the investigation.

Cayce was arrested last week and subsequently released on a general order bond. He is scheduled to appear before a judge this week. His videos garnered hundreds of thousands of views, with reactions on social media ranging from amusement to condemnation.

Following his arrest, Cayce posted on Facebook, apologizing for his "childish activities" and stating he "REALLY LOVE THESE PEOPLE IM NOT A BAD PERSON." He also shared a video of himself distributing food to displaced individuals and tagged the Houston Police Department. In another post, he referred to the assaults as "harmless fun" and expressed that he did not intend to cause harm, while also criticizing those who left negative comments.

Despite his apologies, Cayce has faced criticism online. He has also announced plans to promote a "one-on-one water gun fight challenge," framing it as a positive community event. He stated, "WATERGUNS UP REAL GUNS DOWN."
