Texas A&M and LSU Set for Saturday Night SEC Showdown

Texas A&M will travel to Baton Rouge to face LSU in their 65th all-time meeting on Saturday night, with both teams seeking their first Southeastern Conference victory of the season.
LSU enters the contest with a 2-1 record after suffering a 32-24 road loss to Ole Miss in Week 3. The Tigers opened the season with wins over Clemson and Louisiana Tech, with quarterback Sam Leavitt and tight end Trey’Dez Green leading an offensive attack. They are looking to rebound in front of a home crowd.
Texas A&M also holds a 2-1 record after a 31-21 home defeat against Kentucky in their SEC opener last weekend. Prior to that loss, the Aggies secured double-digit wins over Missouri State and Arizona State. Head coach Mike Elko will rely on quarterback Marcel Reed, running back CJ Baxter, and a strong defensive front to control the game.
Last year, Texas A&M defeated LSU 49-25 in their matchup in Baton Rouge.
