Terrion Arnold, 23, a former standout cornerback for the Detroit Lions, is reportedly drawing interest from multiple NFL teams even as he faces serious legal charges, including allegations of masterminding a kidnapping and armed robbery plot. Arnold was released by the Lions on June 29.

Arnold's agent, Harvey Steinberg, previously stated that three teams had contacted him, and a recent report indicates Arnold is expected to visit "several teams" that have expressed interest. A judge has granted Arnold permission to continue his NFL career, allowing him to resume playing as long as he adheres to court-ordered restrictions. He cleared waivers on Monday after posting a $1 million bond and is currently required to remain at his residence in Tallahassee, Florida, except for football-related activities. His passport has been surrendered.

It remains unspecified which teams Arnold will visit or which have privately shown interest, but his potential return to the field could be for the 2026 season. During a recent court appearance, prosecutors requested an ankle monitor for Arnold, but his attorneys argued it would impede his ability to play football, a point the judge accepted.

The Lions selected Arnold in the first round of the 2024 NFL Draft. He played 24 games, with 22 starts, over two seasons with the team, recording one interception and defending 18 passes. He is now the first player from the 2024 draft class to be released by his team.

Arnold is accused of orchestrating a plot to detain and pistol-whip three individuals he believed had stolen from him. Investigators claim the alleged victims were not involved in the February theft of over $250,000 worth of personal property from an AirBnB rental. Three days after the reported theft, three men in their late teens were allegedly held at gunpoint, beaten, and robbed at a Tampa apartment.

Prosecutors allege Arnold was the "primary conspirator" in the attack, though his management agency denies his involvement. At least seven individuals face charges in connection with the incident. Two have pleaded guilty and are cooperating with authorities, and one has already received a four-year prison sentence for kidnapping, conspiracy, and armed robbery.

Court documents detail accusations that Arnold instructed co-defendant Jasmine Randazzo to lure the victims to her Tampa apartment. Once there, according to the motion, co-defendant Arianna Del Valle was waiting, and other co-defendants Christion Williams and Lyndell Hudson emerged from a closet with firearms. One victim was allegedly struck with an AR-15-style rifle by Hudson, while another was assaulted with a semiautomatic firearm by Williams. A third victim arrived later and reportedly suffered a similar fate.

Prosecutors claim these assaults were captured on a video livestream shared by Del Valle with Arnold and other co-defendants as they traveled from Tallahassee to Tampa. During this time, Arnold and co-defendant Boakai Hilton are accused of exchanging text messages, allegedly giving instructions to Del Valle, Williams, and Hudson regarding the beatings. Williams, Hudson, and Freddie Hughes allegedly stole wallets, phones, jackets, cash, and jewelry from the victims.

After Arnold, Hilton, Hughes, and another individual parked nearby, the armed assailants allegedly forced the victims into their vehicles and fled. The victims subsequently filed a report with Tampa police. A search warrant executed at Del Valle and Randazzo's apartment led to Del Valle's arrest. She has since admitted her involvement, as has Randazzo, who received a four-year prison sentence. Both Randazzo and Del Valle reportedly identified Arnold as the defendant.
