Teresa Giudice's Daughter Milania Under Professional Care After Airport Incident

Milania Giudice, daughter of "Real Housewives of New Jersey" star Teresa Giudice, is currently under the care of professionals following a series of challenging events. Her representative confirmed that the 20-year-old University of Tampa student is focusing on her "health and wellbeing" after an alleged public disturbance at Tampa International Airport this week.

"Milania is deeply loved by her family and friends, and all of us are doing everything we can to support her as she navigates an incredibly difficult time in her life, particularly following the devastating loss of her best friend, Victoria," said longtime family friend and Milania's representative, Maria DeSantis, in a statement. "She is currently surrounded by people who love her and is under the care of professionals who are working with her and her family."

DeSantis added, "Milania is a good-hearted and caring young woman who has been going through a very challenging period, and our focus right now is simply on her health, healing and wellbeing." The statement also expressed hope that Milania's experiences might help others, but requested compassion and privacy.

The recent airport incident occurred days after Milania reportedly posted a now-deleted video to social media showing her arguing with her mother, Teresa, and older sister, Gia, at the airport. In the video, Milania could be heard repeatedly saying, "This is what we do now, everybody, this is what we do." A tense exchange followed, with Milania telling Gia to "shut the f**k up."

According to a police log obtained by TMZ, officers were called to the airport after Milania was allegedly released from a hospital. The log reportedly mentioned "suicidal thoughts/mental breakdown" and a possible Baker Act situation, which allows for involuntary mental health examinations in Florida. However, no police report was filed, and no arrest or medical transport was made, according to Page Six.

Milania reportedly ran away from her mother, sister, and a counselor at the airport. A law enforcement source indicated that police were contacted and found Milania approximately 12 minutes later, after which the group boarded their flight. The site also reported that Milania had enrolled in anger management classes in August.

This year has been particularly difficult for Milania. In May, she was arrested for alleged domestic violence at her mother's New Jersey home. Reports stated she threw candles and food before her sister Gabriella called 911, claiming Milania was "acting erratically." Milania was charged with one count of simple assault, though no weapons were involved and no injuries were reported. She later addressed the incident in a TikTok video, stating, "It is what it is, s*** happens in life. Just become a better person and talk about it."

Milania is also mourning the loss of her childhood friend Victoria Zardoya, who died on July 24 after sustaining fatal injuries from a "devastating fall" while exploring historic ruins in Florida. She was 20 years old.
