Teresa Giudice and Melissa Gorga Mend Relationship Amid Family Crisis

Teresa Giudice and her sister-in-law, Melissa Gorga, have reportedly reconciled privately, a development that comes as Giudice navigates a family crisis involving her daughter Milania. The two Real Housewives of New Jersey stars, who had a public falling out in 2023, have been spending time together again, according to a source.

Giudice severed contact with her brother Joe Gorga and Melissa Gorga during the 2023 reunion special for their show, marking the peak of a significant feud. By the end of 2025, Giudice announced that she was in the process of rebuilding her relationships with them. This reconciliation has now been further signaled by the two women posing together at Page Six's Virtual RealiTea Awards in New York this week.

The renewed bond between Giudice and the Gorgas has emerged as Giudice deals with her daughter Milania's recent public struggles. Milania, 20, was involved in an incident at Tampa International Airport last month that led to police intervention. An incident report alleged Milania was experiencing a 'mental breakdown' and having 'suicidal thoughts' at the time. Milania had recently been released from St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Petersburg, Florida, where she had been taken under the state's Baker Act, a law permitting involuntary temporary detention for individuals in mental crisis.

Bodycam footage from the airport incident showed Giudice informing authorities about a prior event where she alleged Milania had fentanyl in her system, a claim Milania disputed, stating she had been 'laced' with the substance. Milania's social media posts have also alluded to difficulties, including a birthday message to her sister Gabriella in which she acknowledged putting Gabriella 'through a lot over the years.'

Further compounding recent family challenges, Milania was arrested in May on a simple assault charge following a domestic dispute at the family's New Jersey home, as reported by Page Six. Her court appearance is scheduled for December 1, with her legal team having requested a delay following the airport incident.

Giudice, who shares Milania and her sisters Gia, 25, and Audriana, 17, with her first husband Joe Giudice, has spoken out about her daughter's current difficulties. She stated that Milania is going through 'an extremely vulnerable time' and grappling with 'grief,' referencing the July death of her close childhood friend Victoria Zardoya. Giudice emphasized that her daughter deserves space to heal privately, away from public scrutiny.

The reconciliation with Melissa and Joe follows a period of intense estrangement. The rift was so deep that the 14th season of The Real Housewives of New Jersey did not feature a traditional reunion, with cast members filmed in separate rooms. However, by November 2025, Giudice announced at BravoCon 2025 that she was working to mend fences with her brother and sister-in-law, a process that has seemingly continued privately.
