The Tennessee Titans have released defensive lineman Jordan Elliott after an unspecified incident occurred at the team's facility on Thursday, October 15. The AFC South franchise confirmed the roster move on Tuesday morning.
In a statement, the Titans organization stated, "Following our review of the incident, we have made the decision to release Elliott from our roster. We will have no further comment on the matter."
Elliott had signed a two-year contract worth up to $8.5 million with the Titans during the offseason. This move reunited him with head coach Robert Saleh, who previously coached Elliott during their time with the San Francisco 49ers.
