Tennessee Titans Fire Three Front Office Executives Amid Winless Season

The Tennessee Titans have dismissed three vice presidents—Adam Nuse, Erin Swartz, and Charles Jensen—as part of a significant front office restructuring, according to Titans reporter Jared Stillman. This move comes as the team faces a winless 0-4 record.

Erin Swartz had been instrumental in the team's recent rebranding efforts, which included the introduction of a new logo and uniforms that elicited a divided response from the fanbase. Adolpho Birch is transitioning from his role as legal leader to a senior advisor position working with the ownership group.

The firings occur during a period of significant struggle for the franchise, marked by four consecutive losing seasons and the current winless streak. The Titans are set to host the also-winless Houston Texans on Sunday.

Concerns also extend to the team's on-field performance and future outlook. Quarterback Cam Ward, selected first overall a year and a half ago, has shown inconsistent play, with 18 touchdowns against nine interceptions and a 3-18 record in 21 NFL starts. The coaching staff, led by former Jets coach Robert Saleh and offensive coordinator Brian Daboll (who was fired by the Giants last season), has struggled to ignite the team. The offense is currently averaging 13.8 points per game, ranking 31st in the NFL through the first four weeks.

Saleh is the fourth head coach to lead the Titans since the beginning of the 2023 season, following Mike Vrabel, Brian Callahan, and interim coach Mike McCoy in 2025. Callahan was dismissed after just 23 games, midway through his second season.
