A former Metro Nashville Police Department officer has resigned after admitting to having sexual encounters with a fellow officer inside a middle school and in a police car. The incidents occurred in May 2025 while the officer, Lisa Vidrios, was serving as a school resource officer at Madison Middle School.

An investigation by the Office of Professional Accountability revealed that Vidrios, 37, filmed herself engaging in sexual acts with another officer inside her office at the school. At the time, students and staff were reportedly present in the building and could be heard outside her office door. The report stated that at least four such encounters took place inside the school.

Vidrios also admitted to having sexual encounters with the same officer on at least two occasions while on duty in the other officer's police car. One of these incidents occurred in the parking lot of an abandoned hospital.

Vidrios joined the Metro Nashville Police Department in 2022 with her husband, who is also an officer. They were the first married couple to graduate from the department's training academy together. Vidrios was subsequently featured in a promotional video for the department.

The affair came to light in May 2025, the same month it reportedly began. Following the allegations, Vidrios and the other officer were immediately decommissioned and removed from police access on May 26, 2025. Vidrios agreed to a pre-investigative settlement for alleged violations, including conduct unbecoming an officer and inappropriate sexual activity while on duty. She agreed to a 30-day suspension followed by her resignation.

The paramour, who has been with the department for 18 years and was assigned to the tactical operation section, was granted an injured on duty pension in February 2026, which prevented investigators from interviewing him. Vidrios' husband was not named in the report.
