The telehealth platform Arbor is now offering compounded GLP-1 weight loss medications, including semaglutide and tirzepatide, with plans starting at $99 per month. The company aims to streamline access to these popular medications, which have seen a significant increase in use for weight loss purposes.

According to Gallup, approximately 28 million Americans, or 11% of the population, are currently using GLP-1 medications. Arbor facilitates this process through an online health quiz and a brief assessment, which can lead to a prescription from a U.S. board-certified physician.

The platform provides compounded semaglutide for $99 per month and compounded tirzepatide for $149 per month. Both are administered as weekly at-home injections. Arbor states that there are no additional costs, even if dosage adjustments are needed, and offers a refund if weight loss goals are not met. Medications are shipped free via FedEx, with delivery expected within 48 hours of approval.

Arbor reports that over 10,000 patients have used its services, with a claimed success rate of 94.6%. The company also offers supplementary services such as consultations with providers, dietitian support for personalized nutrition plans, and direct chat services. For those transitioning off GLP-1 medications, Arbor assists in creating a maintenance plan with a provider.

Arbor's plans are eligible for HSA/FSA accounts, and members can cancel their subscriptions at any time. The company emphasizes that it is a technology platform, and medical evaluations are performed by independent licensed providers. It is noted that compounded medications have not been reviewed by the FDA for safety or effectiveness, and consultation requirements may vary by state.
