A 21-year-old man, identified as Khadeem Parris, was fatally stabbed in Northampton. A 21-year-old suspect remains in police custody in connection with the incident.
Two men, aged 19 and 56, and a 51-year-old woman were arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender and have since been released on police bail. Northamptonshire Police stated on Saturday that the investigation is ongoing.
Family members described Parris as a "kind and strong" individual. He was reportedly excited to begin college in August to study plumbing and electrical work. His interests also included computer games and football. The family expressed their profound grief, stating, "Words can't explain how we feel at this time. We cannot understand it and we are utterly heartbroken at his loss."
"A special handshake marked their friendship and closeness," his family added, highlighting the close bonds he shared.
Mention of a football field with police tape and vehicles suggests a possible connection to the location of the incident or related investigations.
