A 17-year-old boy has been charged with a string of sexual offenses, including two counts of rape, robbery, sexual assault, and exposure. The charges stem from two separate police investigations into incidents that occurred in May.
Authorities were first alerted on May 11 after receiving reports of a woman being approached and raped on Bucknall Old Road in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent. Approximately four days later, officers responded to a report of sexual assault and exposure on Foundry Street, also in Hanley.
Following these investigations, a 17-year-old boy from Bentilee, Stoke-on-Trent, was formally charged. Due to his age, the teenager cannot be legally identified. He appeared at the North Staffordshire Justice Centre and has since been remanded into custody. His next court appearance is scheduled for November 16 at Stoke-on-Trent Crown Court.
