Teenager Dies After Fall From Sydney Building

A 17-year-old boy died after falling five storeys from a building in Sydney's inner-city Surry Hills on Tuesday night. Emergency services were alerted to the incident on Elizabeth Street around 9 p.m. following reports of a person falling.

Paramedics attended to the boy at the scene, but he sustained critical injuries and passed away before he could be transported to a hospital. New South Wales Police have stated they are investigating the circumstances surrounding the fall. At this time, the death is not considered suspicious. Detectives are reportedly exploring the possibility that the teenager may have been exploring an unoccupied building when the accident occurred.
