A 15-year-old boy is fighting for his life after sustaining a stab wound while in Terrigal on the Central Coast. Emergency services were called to Painters Lane around 9:45 p.m. on Friday following reports of the serious injury.
Police stated that the teenager was with several other youths when the incident occurred. Shortly after, he approached a home on Painters Lane to ask for assistance. The resident contacted emergency services.
Paramedics treated the boy at the scene before transporting him to Gosford Hospital, where he is currently in critical condition. Detectives are investigating the circumstances surrounding the stabbing and have appealed to the public for any information. Police are particularly interested in any mobile phone or dashcam footage from individuals who were in the area at the time of the incident.
