Teen Stab Victim Seeks Help at Sydney Home

A Sydney mother described the alarming moment a 17-year-old boy, suffering from stab wounds, staggered to her door seeking help. The incident occurred on Friday evening in Earlwood, a southwestern suburb of Sydney.

Emergency services were called to a home on Flinders Road around 5:45 p.m. after reports of an assault. Officers arriving at the scene found the teenage boy with stab wounds to his neck, back, and shoulder. A resident, identified as Julie, reported hearing banging on her door and the boy pleading for assistance. She stated the boy was covered in blood and visibly scared.

Door camera footage captured the teenager sitting outside the house, informing those inside that he had been stabbed in the neck. Julie can be seen in the footage calling emergency services and comforting the boy until help arrived.

Paramedics treated the teenager at the scene before transporting him to Royal Prince Alfred Hospital. He was reported to be in serious but stable condition.

Police have established a crime scene at a toilet block in Beaman Park, Earlwood, which is believed to be where the assault took place. Authorities are continuing their investigation and are urging anyone with information to contact Burwood Police or Crime Stoppers.
