A 19-year-old woman, identified as Vana-Reese Schuster-Togiatau of Jimboomba, has died after being shot outside a Queensland pub last weekend. The incident occurred outside Fitzy's Loganholme, south of Brisbane, on Saturday night during the Logan City Titles boxing event, which was attended by over 100 spectators, including families with young children.
Queensland Police confirmed the teen's death on Thursday afternoon and announced that the investigation is now being treated as a homicide. Detective Inspector Ian Galpin offered the deepest condolences from the Queensland Police Service to the family and friends of the deceased.
"We have not stopped and we will not stop until these people are identified and taken into custody," Galpin stated, emphasizing the ongoing efforts to apprehend the individuals responsible.
