A police pursuit ended with a teenager crashing through a fence at Portsmouth International Airport on Saturday evening, striking a parked plane and a tractor, according to authorities.

New Hampshire State Police reported that the incident began around 8 p.m. when a trooper attempted to stop a black 2008 Ford Mustang on Durham Street in Portsmouth. The driver, identified as 17-year-old Wyatt Seely of Rochester, allegedly fled the scene, with state police noting the Mustang did not have its lights on.

The vehicle then crashed through a perimeter fence of the airport, traveled across an aircraft parking apron, and collided with a Kubota tractor and a small, unoccupied plane before coming to a stop. Officials stated that Seely was found to be intoxicated following the crash.

Seely was taken into custody by state troopers and transported to an area hospital for evaluation. No other injuries were reported.

He faces multiple charges, including misdemeanor counts of driving while intoxicated (DWI), aggravated driving while intoxicated, disobeying a police officer, and conduct after an accident. Seely also faces a violation-level offense of reckless driving. His arraignment is scheduled for September 9, 2026, in Portsmouth District Court.

The Portsmouth Police and Fire departments, the Newington Police Department, and Pease Fire and Emergency Services provided assistance during the incident.
