Police charge 15-year-old with 11 counts of attempted second-degree murder following weekend incident near Bragg Memorial Stadium.
Tallahassee police arrested a 15-year-old suspect Sunday night in connection with a shooting that occurred Saturday near Florida A&M University's Bragg Memorial Stadium. The incident left multiple individuals injured.
Authorities have charged the teen with 11 counts of attempted second-degree murder and possession of a firearm by a delinquent, according to a statement from the Tallahassee Police Department. The department's Chief of Police, Lawrence Revell, stated that the event disrupted a planned weekend of celebration and instead brought fear and violence.
"While this arrest marks a significant step forward, our work is far from over," Revell said in the statement. "We remain committed to holding those responsible accountable and getting answers for every family impacted by this tragedy."
