A San Francisco-based tech executive has ignited a storm of online debate after publicly sharing her stringent criteria for potential romantic partners. Brooke LeBlanc, 29, who works as the head of community at AI insurance company Corgi, posted a detailed list of 'non-negotiables' on X, formerly known as Twitter, which quickly went viral.

The extensive list, which has since been deleted along with LeBlanc's X account, outlined specific requirements for age, physical health, personality traits, and even a partner's commitment to personal growth.

LeBlanc's demands included that her potential partner be between 35 and 42 years old, healthy, masculine, intelligent, humorous, lighthearted, and possess a provider/protector mentality while still being hardworking. She also specified a desire for a partner who had not yet had children but expressed a desire to have them in the future. A key requirement was that the individual be "on the healing path," demonstrated by a history of commitment to personal development through therapy, self-help books, or wellness retreats.

Further stipulations included that the individual be fit, sober, and committed to their health. LeBlanc also stated a preference for living in the same city as a potential partner, and that they should not have been previously married or engaged. A strong preference was also noted for a partner working in the tech industry.

The backlash to LeBlanc's post was significant, with many users on X criticizing her demands as overly prescriptive or unrealistic. Despite the negative reception, LeBlanc reportedly stated in a subsequent post that she had already identified five potential matches since her original post gained traction.

LeBlanc joined Corgi in February 2026. Prior to her role at the AI insurance company, she worked as a business development manager for the software firm iDeals, where she was credited with securing a significant contract with JP Morgan. The incident echoes a similar situation months prior, when a leading etiquette expert, Jo Hayes, shared her own list of 'non-negotiables' for a partner, emphasizing traits like financial wisdom and a preference for a low-tech lifestyle.
