Taylor Swift's "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore" Features New Tributes to Travis Kelce
The expanded album includes several songs with lyrics referencing her relationship with the NFL star, including his hometown and podcast.
Taylor Swift has released an expanded version of her album, "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore," which includes four new songs that appear to reference her relationship with husband Travis Kelce.
The new tracks, released Friday, continue a theme of personal references that began with the album's original October 2025 release. "The Encore" features the previously released "Patient Zero," along with new songs "Pink Clouding," "Babylon," and "Cleveland."
The song "Cleveland" directly references Kelce's hometown of Cleveland Heights and alludes to his podcast, "New Heights," which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason Kelce. Lyrics from the song's chorus reportedly include: "He already took me to Cleveland / And showed me The Heights, so hate all you like / This is the love of my life, hey, hey, hey."
Fans had previously identified multiple references to Kelce in the original 12 tracks of "The Life of a Showgirl." One song, "Wood," was widely interpreted as a tribute to Kelce, with lyrics that some fans found sexually suggestive. In "Wood," Swift sings, "New Heights of manhood / I ain't gotta knock on wood," and later, "His love was the key / That opened my thighs."
Another track, "Wi$h Li$t," featured Swift singing about not needing material wealth when she "just want[s] you," which fans also connected to her relationship with Kelce.
The "The Life of a Showgirl" album was released shortly after Swift made an appearance on Kelce's "New Heights" podcast, where she had announced the album's original release date.
