Taylor Swift's NYC Apartment Used by MGK and Dakota Johnson for Private Meetup

Taylor Swift provided a private setting for Machine Gun Kelly and Dakota Johnson when they met at her New York City apartment recently. Sources familiar with the situation told Page Six that Swift has allowed friends to use her properties before, and Johnson and MGK sought privacy for their gathering.

Johnson and MGK, both 36, were observed arriving separately at Swift's penthouse on a Friday night before heading to a dinner at the restaurant Estela. Swift was reportedly not present during their visit.

According to a source, the musicians and actress "hit it off" during their time together, noting "there was definitely chemistry." The insider described MGK as being "really into" Johnson and finding her "really cool" and "attracted to her." The source also mentioned that MGK appreciated Johnson's sense of humor and that she "doesn't take herself too seriously."

The meeting was characterized as low-key, with the pair "vibing and having fun" as they got to know each other. The source emphasized that it was not an awkward or forced encounter and that neither party was trying to make a significant public event out of their time together.

MGK, whose real name is Colson Baker, and Johnson's meeting follows reports of Johnson's split from musician Tucker 'Role Model' Pillsbury, whom she had dated for approximately eight months. Johnson was previously featured on Pillsbury's album.

Machine Gun Kelly previously had a long-term relationship with actress Megan Fox, with whom he shares a daughter born in March of last year. Despite their past relationship, sources indicated late last year that Fox was impressed by his involvement in their child's life.

Both Johnson and MGK were seen attending the US Open around the same weekend, though on different days. Their paths reportedly first crossed at Taylor Swift's recent Madison Square Garden event attended by Travis Kelce.
