Taylor Swift's Game Day Outfit Sparks Immediate Sell-Out
A $39.99 tank top worn by the singer to a Kansas City Chiefs game sold out within hours.
Taylor Swift's choice of attire for the Kansas City Chiefs' "Sunday Night Football" game against the Colts has led to an immediate sell-out of the item. The singer was seen wearing a $39.99 red Chiefs tank top from the "WEAR" line by her friend, sportscaster Erin Andrews.
Swift paired the tank top with jeans and a black belt. The rapid sell-out mirrors previous instances where Swift's fashion choices have driven significant consumer demand. For example, when Swift and Travis Kelce's relationship became public in 2023, Kelce's jersey sales surged by 400 percent, with his No. 87 becoming a top-five selling NFL jersey.
Andrews and Swift have a close friendship, with Andrews having previously taken credit for introducing the pop superstar and the NFL player. Swift has worn items from Andrews's "Wear" collection before, including a jacket to a Chiefs game in 2023.
During the game, which the Chiefs won 33-30 in overtime, Kelce scored a touchdown in the first quarter. Cameras captured Swift in a suite, exclaiming, "That's my husband!" while gesturing to her wedding ring stack before embracing Kelce's father, Ed. Kelce finished the game with nine catches for 101 yards and a touchdown.
This appearance follows Swift's attendance at the Chiefs' Week 1 game against the Broncos, where she was seen in a suite with Tom Cruise. On that same day, Swift opted out of attending the Emmy Awards to make a prerecorded cameo on "Law & Order: SVU."
The Chiefs are scheduled to play the Dolphins and Raiders in upcoming away games before returning to Arrowhead Stadium to face the Chargers on October 18, following a bye week.
