New footage has emerged showing Taylor Swift expressing her frustration with a disputed referee call during Sunday Night Football, leading to a viral moment.
Swift, who is publicly dating Kansas City Chiefs player Travis Kelce, was in attendance for the Chiefs' game against the Indianapolis Colts. The incident occurred in overtime when the Colts completed a deep pass, which was initially ruled a fumble recovered by the Chiefs. However, after a lengthy review, officials overturned the call, returning possession to the Colts.
Swift was captured on camera appearing to mouth the phrase, "That's bulls***," in reaction to the overturned fumble call. The play involved Colts receiver Laquon Treadwell, who caught a pass and was seemingly about to fumble it after being jarred by Chiefs safety L'Jarius Sneed. Officials reviewed whether Treadwell was down by contact before losing the ball.
After the review, referees determined that Sneed had made contact with Treadwell on the hip at the moment the receiver maintained control of the ball, thus ruling him down by contact and negating the fumble. The decision drew astonished reactions from stadium fans and commentators, with Mike Tirico calling the sequence "Absolutely insane! Wow!" and Cris Collinsworth adding, "I've never been a part of a game where anything like that happened to decide the game."
Despite the controversial call, the Colts ultimately failed to capitalize on the extended possession. They ran the ball on consecutive plays, gaining minimal yardage, and eventually settled for a field goal to tie the game.
The Chiefs, led by quarterback Patrick Mahomes, then drove down the field to secure a 33-30 victory with a 40-yard field goal.
Kelce had a strong performance in the game, recording nine catches for 101 yards and a touchdown. It marked his first game with triple-digit receiving yards since an AFC Divisional round win in 2024. Following Kelce's touchdown, Swift was observed celebrating and pointing to her ring finger, reportedly exclaiming, "That's my husband!"
