Taylor Swift's former Beverly Hills residence, rumored to be where she worked on her Grammy-winning album "1989" and featured in a popular Vogue interview, has been listed for sale at nearly $8 million. The property, known as the Pillsbury Estate, offers four bedrooms and five bathrooms across 4,360 square feet.

Swift purchased the gated estate in 2011 for over $3.5 million when she was 21. The house, a white-clapboard structure with dormer windows, was acquired as she expanded her career into pop music and sought a West Coast base. During her ownership, she reportedly contributed to "1989," the 2014 album that solidified her global pop stardom. The album included hits like "Shake It Off," "Blank Space," and "Style."

In April 2016, Swift invited Vogue cameras into the home for its "73 Questions" video series, offering fans a rare glimpse into her private life. During the tour, she shared that "Blank Space" was her fastest-written song and mentioned keeping a VMA award in the kitchen.

Swift sold the estate in 2018 for approximately $4 million. Its subsequent owners included fashion entrepreneur Nicolas Bijan, heir to the House of Bijan label, and his wife, interior designer Roxy Bijan, who undertook an extensive renovation of the property. The kitchen now features powder-blue cabinets and marble countertops, and the primary suite includes a large dressing room with floor-to-ceiling wardrobes and illuminated shoe displays.

Despite its location in an exclusive neighborhood, the Pillsbury Estate maintains a sense of seclusion, surrounded by mature trees and lush landscaping on a wooded hillside. The grounds also feature a private sports court, advertised for pickleball and other activities, which was a pre-existing feature when Swift bought the home. Outdoor entertaining areas include brick terraces and a barbecue.

According to the current owners, an olive tree planted by Swift's former boyfriend, DJ Calvin Harris, remains on the property. The estate is listed by Drew and Dean Mandile of Sotheby’s International Realty – Beverly Hills Brokerage for $7,995,000.
