Specific critiques focused on the smoothness of the image, making it difficult to distinguish contours, particularly in her underarm area. "No shade, but they edited her armpit to HELL," another X user commented, while a third noted, "I'm so sorry but why does the side of her look so poorly edited? It looks way over-airbrushed and almost AI."

She announced the single's release date as September 25 and made three versions of the track available for pre-order.
