Taylor Swift has extended wedding invitations to the five starting players of the New York Knicks, the team that ultimately defeated Travis Kelce's beloved hometown Cleveland Cavaliers in the NBA postseason.
According to reports, Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, Mikal Bridges, OG Anunoby, and Josh Hart are expected to attend Swift and Kelce's upcoming wedding ceremony and celebration in Manhattan. Brunson, a prominent Knicks star, has previously expressed his admiration for Swift.
The Knicks' championship run saw them face off against the Cavaliers in the Eastern Conference Finals. Swift and Kelce were present courtside for Game 3 of that series in Cleveland, where the Knicks secured a 121-108 victory. Kelce, a native of the Cleveland area and a supporter of its sports teams, was rooting for the Cavaliers during the series.
Later in the playoffs, Swift attended a Knicks game at Madison Square Garden to support the team in the finals against the San Antonio Spurs. The Knicks successfully overcame a significant deficit in that game. Kelce was unable to attend that particular game due to commitments with the Kansas City Chiefs.
