Taylor Swift Found Jason Kelce's Early Morning Workout Request to Travis 'F—ed Up'
The pop superstar expressed her displeasure when her boyfriend's brother asked Travis Kelce for assistance with a squat challenge before dawn.
Taylor Swift considered Jason Kelce's early morning request to his brother, Travis Kelce, to be "f—ed up," according to a recent episode of the brothers' "New Heights" podcast.
Jason, 38, called Travis, 37, at 7:30 a.m. asking for help with a workout challenge called "Squatober." Travis recounted that his initial reaction was concern, fearing a worst-case scenario such as his brother being injured.
"I get a call at 7:30 in the morning. In my mind, I’m thinking worst-case scenario," Travis said. "I’m like, ‘Oh, s–t. Is everything okay? Maybe after the run Jason’s in the hospital, he blew his knee out or something.’"
However, Jason's request was simply for Travis to spot him during his squat workout. Travis initially hesitated, saying, "No way!" but ultimately agreed to help.
As Travis was leaving to assist his brother, Swift, 36, expressed her disapproval. "And Taylor’s like, ‘This is f—ed up,'" Travis recalled her saying. "And I’m just like, ‘Nah, it’ll be good. It’ll be good!’"
Earlier in the podcast, Jason explained that he had asked Travis about the available weight in his basement before flying out to visit Travis and Swift in Kansas City. Travis confirmed that Jason brought two 25 lb. weights and additional plates for his squat bar.
"Absolutely hilarious, the most meathead thing I think I’ve ever seen Jason do," Travis remarked.
Jason and Swift were present at Arrowhead Stadium on Sunday to support Travis during the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Los Angeles Chargers. The Chiefs secured a 22-6 victory.
During the game, Swift was observed gesturing to a fan in a lower suite who was reportedly recording her. A member of her security team subsequently approached the fan, who appeared to be asked to put away their phone and watch the game.
