Taylor Swift Embraces Post-Wedding Style Evolution
The singer has debuted a new haircut and a more polished, feminine fashion sense following her marriage to Travis Kelce.
Since her July 3 wedding to NFL star Travis Kelce, Taylor Swift has adopted a noticeably refreshed style, marked by a new 'long bob' haircut and a shift towards softer, more feminine ensembles.
Swift, 36, and Kelce, also 36, were married in a ceremony at Madison Square Garden in New York City. While details of Swift's wedding attire, reportedly a custom Christian Dior Haute Couture gown, remain private, her public appearances in the months since have showcased a distinct evolution in her fashion choices.
"Since Swift's nuptials to Travis Kelce, the pop star has leaned into the more soft, feminine side to her ever-changing style," Nicole Klementowicz, founder and fashion stylist for The Refresh Atelier, told the Daily Mail. "From her floral brocade Markarian frock [worn to a friend's wedding] to her recent Chiefs game gingham polo dress, there's a more romantic polish to her already high-low girly charm."
Swift's new hairstyle, a shoulder-length bob, was first seen in August when she attended the wedding of friends Oli Jacobs and Laura Sisk in Gloucestershire, England. She wore a navy blue Costarellos gown embroidered with gold leaves and flowers to the event.
"Most brides are known to grow out their locks to be styled for their wedding day, and T-Swift is no exception," Klementowicz said. "Cutting her locks into a more refined bob signals a subtle reset as she enters her Wifey era."
The stylist noted a contrast with Swift's previous bob during her 'Reputation' era, describing the current style as longer, sticking to her natural blonde hue, and featuring unfussy styling. Swift has been seen pairing the haircut with elegant outfits, such as a striped Stella McCartney silk halter dress on a date night with Kelce in New York, and a gray Alexander McQueen blazer and matching pleated pants for a surprise cameo in a 'Law & Order' sketch at the 2026 Emmys.
As Kelce's NFL season has progressed, Swift has also incorporated elements of his team's attire into her wardrobe, while maintaining her distinct style. For the Chiefs home opener against the Denver Broncos on September 14, she wore a tan-and-red checkered polo dress from Gigi Hadid's brand, Guest In Residence. For another game, she opted for a red Chiefs logo tank top from Erin Andrews' line with Fanatics, paired with acid-wash jeans and gold jewelry.
"I think she is already moving toward a more mature, refined wardrobe," Klementowicz observed. "My stylist's take is she's editing her closet to feel more like a more grown-up version of her already known style."
Swift has also been seen wearing her wedding band following the nuptials. Kelce proposed to Swift with a vintage-inspired engagement ring featuring a 10-carat Old Mine Brilliant Cut diamond on a custom-engraved yellow gold band.
Klementowicz anticipates Swift will continue to blend more affordable fan merchandise with luxury pieces, citing her ability to mix a Cartier bracelet with an under-$40 fan tank. "I think we'll see more sleek, modern pieces that celebrate her husband's team while keeping elements such as her jewelry that feel distinctly her," she added.
