The track, featured on her deluxe album "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore," showcases previously unseen footage of Swift and Kelce during their time in his hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio.
The video captures candid moments, including Kelce driving with Swift filming from the passenger seat. Despite the personal nature of the visuals, "Cleveland" has faced criticism, with some outlets labeling it a "dud" and describing the new music as "derivative and flat."
The "Cleveland" lyric video prominently features imagery of roller skating, with one individual in a white dress, accompanied by Swift's lyrics about her newlywed status. A source confirmed to Page Six that the dress depicted in the video is not the one Swift wore during her July wedding to Kelce at Madison Square Garden.
Details in the video include white skates adorned with 13 colorful hearts, a nod to Swift's favorite number, and the etched lyrics "this is the love of my life." This release follows "Patient Zero," which became Spotify's most-streamed song by a female artist in a single day in 2026. "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore" also includes the tracks "Pink Clouding" and "Babylon."
Fans are also anticipating the music video for "Patient Zero," set to premiere Sunday at the 2026 MTV Video Music Awards, which will feature Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.
