Taylor Swift Declares Travis Kelce 'Love of My Life' in New Song 'Cleveland!'

Taylor Swift is expressing her deep affection for husband Travis Kelce in her new song "Cleveland!," released Friday as part of her album "The Life of Showgirl: The Encore."

The track, which appears to be named after Kelce's hometown of Cleveland Heights, Ohio, includes lyrics that directly reference their relationship and recent nuptials. "My baby likes what he likes / He already took me to Cleveland / And showed me The Heights!" Swift sings, also nodding to Kelce's podcast "New Heights," which he co-hosts with his brother, Jason. She further declares, "So hate all you like / This is the love of my life."

Swift's lyrics also touch upon public perception and Kelce's devotion to her. "The taste of me is acquired, but it’s his favorite dish," she sings, later adding, "You only need to find one person in this entire world / Who doesn’t find you completely insufferable / And I have an important announcement to make / I found mine!"

The song concludes with a direct allusion to Swift and Kelce's July 3 wedding: "Now I’m wearing white!"

"Cleveland!" is one of four new songs Swift released on "The Life of a Showgirl: The Encore," alongside "Patient Zero," "Pink Clouding," and "Babylon." She announced the new tracks Friday, stating they were inspired by fan support for her 2025 album "The Life of a Showgirl."

This is not the first time Swift has incorporated references to Kelce into her music. Her 2024 album "The Tortured Poets Department" featured songs like "The Alchemy" and "So High School," which were speculated to be about the NFL star. Additionally, tracks from her "The Life of a Showgirl" album, such as "Elizabeth Taylor," "Opalite," and "Wood," also contained lyrical nods to Kelce.

During a 2025 interview with Jimmy Fallon, Swift discussed the song "Wood," which compares Kelce's attributes to a redwood tree, admitting that the song evolved from an innocent concept into something more suggestive during the recording process.

Swift is also set to debut the music video for "Patient Zero" at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards on Sunday, featuring actors Dakota Johnson and Colin Farrell.
