The pop superstar performed a setlist of her hits while wearing a sparkling navy gown on stage.
Taylor Swift captivated the audience at the 2026 Academy Museum Gala with a performance in a stunning Ralph Lauren gown. The Grammy winner took the stage at the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in Los Angeles on Saturday night, dressed in a strapless, sparkling navy blue dress featuring a semi-sheer tulle skirt.
Swift, 36, completed her stage look with Cartier jewelry and black heels, accentuating it with her signature red lip and styled blond hair. During her performance, she sang her 2025 single "Life of a Showgirl," "The Fate of Ophelia," her 2008 hit "Love Story," and her 2026 track "I Knew It, I Knew You" from "Toy Story 5." She was accompanied by backup singers and saxophonists.
Earlier in the evening, Swift graced the red carpet in a blue Dior gown. This ensemble featured pleated silk and a beaded bow, paired with Aquazzura shoes and Chopard jewelry, including 32.40-carat diamond earrings. Her look was described as Cinderella-like.
The gala honored Oscar winner Charlize Theron, filmmaker John Carpenter, and Oscar nominee Colman Domingo. Other notable attendees included Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba, Kristen Dunst, Kate Hudson, John Legend and Chrissy Teigen, Demi Moore, Teyana Taylor, and Olivia Munn.
Swift was announced as a performer for the event on October 8th by the Academy Museum of Motion Pictures. Museum Director and President Amy Homma described Swift as "an extraordinary talent whose work resonates around the world" and expressed excitement for her performance to close the evening.
