Taylor Swift Confronts Fan Filming Her at Chiefs Game
The pop star appeared to signal a fan to stop filming her during the Kansas City Chiefs' game against the Los Angeles Chargers.
Taylor Swift signaled to a fan to stop filming her as she watched her boyfriend Travis Kelce play for the Kansas City Chiefs against the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday. The incident occurred in Swift's VIP suite at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City, Missouri.
A video shared by an attendee shows the pop star appearing to wave away a fan who was positioned below her suite, seemingly recording or photographing her. Swift made a gesture suggesting the fan cease filming and instead focus on the game.
Following Swift's gesture, an individual in the row below approached the fan and signaled for them to leave the area, which the fan then did. Online observers speculated that this individual was part of Swift's security detail.
Many fans expressed support for Swift's actions in the video's comments, with some criticizing the fan for continuing to film after being asked to stop. "I do not understand how people think this is OK even after she told you to stop you continue on until her bodyguard has to tell you to go," one user commented. Another wrote, "How do people have zero self awareness or shame getting in someone’s face taking pictures. It’s so awkward. I’m glad she told the person to knock it off and watch the game." A third commenter stated, "That’s insane. Leave her alone. Geezzz people."
Swift was attending the game with actress Este Haim and athlete Caitlin Clark. She had traveled to Kansas City to support Kelce after attending the Academy Museum Gala in Los Angeles on Saturday night, where she wore two different Dior-designed dresses.
