Pop superstar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce have added a dog to their family, with new details surfacing about the pet following their recent wedding. The couple acquired their white dog, described as appearing to be a Samoyed breed, "many months" ago and have had the animal for "close to a year," according to exclusive reports.
The newlyweds are reportedly "very happy" about their shared pet. The pup was recently seen in Florida with Kelce as he arrived in Palm Beach via Swift's private jet. In photos, the white dog was seen descending the stairs of the aircraft with the NFL player.
Speculation about the dog began earlier this month after images from Swift and Kelce's July 3 wedding at Madison Square Garden circulated online. Eagle-eyed fans noticed a framed photo of the couple holding a white dog among the first leaked images from the ceremony. Details about the dog, including its name, have not yet been shared by Swift or Kelce.
Swift has a well-documented affection for cats, owning three felines: Meredith Grey, Olivia Benson, and Benjamin Button, adopted in 2011, 2014, and 2019, respectively. She has previously described her cats as "dignified," "independent," and "very capable of dealing with their own life."
Kelce has also referenced Swift's cats, once calling Benjamin Button his "biggest supporter" among the three felines in a February 2025 press conference. Swift and Kelce reportedly began dating in the summer of 2023.
