Ashley Smith, the sister of Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith, has been identified as the guest who caught Taylor Swift's wedding bouquet. The ceremony took place on Friday night at Madison Square Garden in New York City.

Smith, whose brother has played alongside Travis Kelce since 2021, shared the news on Instagram. "Celebrated an Enchanting Love S(T&T)ory," she wrote, including photos of herself with the bouquet. "And somehow… I ended up catching Tay Tay’s bouquet." She expressed hope that the memento would bring her "a lifetime of love, luck, and laughter" and concluded with well wishes for the newlyweds, "Congratulations, Taylor & Travis! Cheers to forever T&T!"

The wedding, attended by an estimated 1,000 guests, featured actor Adam Sandler as the officiant. Chiefs head coach Andy Reid shared that Sandler advised the couple to "keep kissing" throughout their marriage.

Reid confirmed that most of the Chiefs roster was invited to the event. However, kicker Harrison Butker was notably absent. Butker, who has been with the Chiefs since 2017, was not on the guest list, according to an NFL source. This follows controversy in 2024 when Butker's commencement speech at Benedictine College drew criticism for its remarks on women's careers and its stance on political and social issues. Despite the differing views, Kelce, along with Mahomes and Reid, had previously defended Butker against public backlash.

Smith is anticipating her brother's sixth season with the Chiefs, having been drafted by the team in the sixth round of the 2021 NFL Draft. Trey Smith was part of two consecutive Super Bowl victories with the Chiefs before the team's appearance in the championship game the following year.
