Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are reportedly preparing to attend their first wedding as a married couple next week, following their own upcoming nuptials. The celebration will be for Kelce's former Kansas City Chiefs teammate, wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster, who is marrying his fiancée Laura Kruk on July 11 in Orange County, California.

Swift and Kelce are expected to be among several guests with ties to the Chiefs, including quarterback Patrick Mahomes and his wife, Brittany. Smith-Schuster recently signed with the New York Giants, ending his tenure with the Chiefs and Kelce.

Kelce expressed his support for Smith-Schuster's move to New York via social media at the time, writing "NY, NY" with fire emojis on his teammate's post. Smith-Schuster won a Super Bowl with the Chiefs alongside Kelce at the end of the 2023 season. Kelce has won three Super Bowls during his NFL career.

Sources indicate that Swift and Kelce are scheduled to celebrate their own wedding with approximately 1,000 guests in a transformed Madison Square Garden in New York. Streets around the venue have been closed by police in anticipation of the event, which is reportedly preceded by a rehearsal dinner on Thursday night and the main celebration on Friday night. Some of Kelce's NFL friends reportedly expressed dissatisfaction at not being invited to the smaller rehearsal event.

Kelce also announced a surprise episode of his podcast, "New Heights," for Friday morning with a mystery guest, sparking fan speculation about potential attendees. Producers for the show have stated that guesses regarding Swift's family members as the mystery guest were incorrect.
