Wedding guests at the nuptials of Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce were gifted handkerchiefs that included a subtle reference to Swift's 2014 hit song "Blank Space."
Country music star Maren Morris shared on Instagram that the white handkerchiefs featured the couple's custom monogram, wedding date, and location. They were also embroidered with the lyric "So it’s gonna be forever," a line from the chorus of "Blank Space."
Morris captioned her post with another lyric from Swift's music, "baby just say yes," from the 2008 song "Love Story."
"Blank Space" is among Kelce's favorite songs by Swift, along with "So High School," "Cruel Summer," and "Opalite."
Swift and Kelce were married Friday at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The ceremony was attended by close family, friends, and celebrity guests.
Notable attendees included Swift's friends Selena Gomez, Gigi Hadid, and Lena Dunham, as well as her publicist Tree Paine and childhood friend Abigail Anderson. Kelce's family, NFL colleagues George Kittle and other Kansas City Chiefs teammates, and actor Adam Sandler, who officiated the wedding, were also present.
The couple opted for a non-traditional wedding party, honoring their siblings. Swift's brother, Austin, served as her "Man of Honor," and Kelce's brother, Jason, was his "Best Man."
Swift's aunt, Robin Gentry, described the ceremony to LBC News as emotional, stating, "They cried, and they laughed, and they danced, and they hugged, and they kissed." She also confirmed that there was abundant food and that the wedding cake was well-received.
Prior to the celebration, the couple reportedly donated $26 million to charity.
