Pop superstar Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce have reportedly tied the knot, with details about their private wedding at Madison Square Garden beginning to surface.
Swift was recently spotted in Montana with her new brother-in-law, Jason Kelce, and his wife, Kylie Kelce, following the July 3 ceremony. Kylie Kelce, speaking at the American Century Championship golf tournament, called the wedding "incredible."
Jason Kelce, who served as Travis' best man, also commented on the event, describing it as "great" when approached by fans. He humorously acknowledged drinking "way over" 15 beers at the reception.
The couple's nieces, Jason and Kylie's four daughters—Wyatt, Elliotte, Bennett, and Finnley—served as flower girls, scattering petals as Swift walked down the aisle. Sportscaster Rich Eisen noted the charming participation of the young girls.
According to New York City officials, the event necessitated significant logistical arrangements. Mayor Zohran Mamdani indicated that Swift covered the cost of permits exceeding $160,000, which also accounted for the city's response to the event. Permits for street closures around Madison Square Garden were in effect from July 2 through July 4.
Swift and Kelce opted for a minimalist bridal party, with Jason Kelce as best man and Swift's brother, Austin Swift, as "Man of Honor." The couple did not have additional bridesmaids or groomsmen.
