Pop star Taylor Swift and NFL player Travis Kelce were married on July 3 at Madison Square Garden in front of approximately 1,000 guests. Details from the star-studded celebration have since been shared by attendees.

Kansas City Chiefs head coach Andy Reid described the wedding as "spectacular" and credited Swift with its meticulous planning. Comedian Adam Sandler officiated the ceremony, offering the couple marriage advice to "kiss her every chance you have." Both Swift and Kelce wrote their own vows, which were reportedly documented in small books.

Swift's wedding attire was designed by Jonathan Anderson of Christian Dior Haute Couture, with Cartier accessories. Kelce wore a white tuxedo. The venue was transformed, with AMC Theaters CEO Adam Aron describing it as draped in peach and white, featuring large photographs of Swift and Kelce from childhood. A portion of the space was designed to resemble a countryside retreat with green and white floral arrangements.

Filmmaker Joseph Kahn characterized the wedding as "funnier and emotional than expected," noting its intimate feel despite the large number of guests, which included notable figures such as Steven Spielberg and Kate Capshaw. Other attendees included Gigi Hadid, Bradley Cooper, Tom Hanks, Paul McCartney, Jessica Alba, and Danny Ramirez.

The reception featured performances by Paul McCartney, who reportedly played The Beatles' "I Want to Hold Your Hand," and Stevie Nicks. Guests participated in games to win raffle tickets, which could be exchanged for prizes like designer handbags or a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle. A personalized keepsake, a white handkerchief embroidered with the lyric "So it's gonna be forever..." from Swift's song "Blank Space," was shared by country singer Maren Morris.

Ashley Smith, sister of Kansas City Chiefs offensive lineman Trey Smith, caught Swift's bouquet. The bouquet contained Sweet Pea, Queen Anne's Lace, and light pink flowers. Swift's mother, Andrea Swift, invited guests into the reception room where the stage was set up.

A photo of the couple's invitation, which read "You’re invited. July 3rd, 2026. Manhattan. Love, Taylor & Travis," was briefly shared online by Ashish Ferguson, the brother of Kelce’s childhood friend and former personal chef, Kumar Ferguson, before being deleted.

Swift's aunt Robin described the event as a celebration where the couple "cried, and they laughed, and they danced, and they hugged, and they kissed." Donna Kelce, Travis Kelce's mother, called the wedding "magical."
