Two months after Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce exchanged vows at Madison Square Garden, an eyewitness has provided an in-depth account of the highly private celebrity wedding.

The ceremony, which took place on July 3rd, was held in a section of the arena that typically houses a concession stand, with a "castle" structure constructed on the opposite side for the reception. Swift reportedly made her entrance from the arena's sixth floor.

Guests, numbering around 1,000, were offered three signature cocktails: "The Gym Teacher," "The English Teacher," and "The T&T." The "T&T," a tequila-based drink, featured ice shaped like shot glasses, while "The English Teacher" contained a hidden flower. Despite earlier reports of champagne shortages, the eyewitness stated that Jay-Z's Ace of Spades flowed abundantly throughout the night.

The reception featured various entertainment options, including food stations, bars, and carnival games. The eyewitness described the event as "a spectacle," akin to being on a movie set.

During the reception, Swift invited several famous friends to perform karaoke. While Ed Sheeran declined the invitation, Stevie Nicks, Avril Lavigne, and Paul McCartney reportedly took to the stage. Swift herself concluded her evening around midnight, but the festivities continued with a DJ until 4 a.m.

Multiple camera crews were present throughout the event, leading to speculation that official footage may be released in the future.

Swift and Kelce, who began dating in the summer of 2023, announced their engagement in August 2025. Their relationship quickly garnered significant public attention, with Swift frequently attending Kelce's Kansas City Chiefs games. Despite the high-profile nature of their romance, the couple maintained a strong level of privacy surrounding their wedding, with no official photos having leaked to the public.
