Pop megastar Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce were married on Friday, July 3, at Madison Square Garden in New York. The couple confirmed their union with a pink sign displayed outside the venue, reading, “JUST&T MARRIED!”

Page Six had previously reported that Kelce and Swift had a more intimate, secret wedding ceremony in Nashville. The couple, both 36, announced their engagement in August 2025, nearly breaking the internet.

Kelce proposed to Swift at his Leawood, Kansas estate, in a backyard setting adorned with pink and white flowers. They announced the engagement via a joint social media post captioned, “Your English teacher and your gym teacher are getting married,” set to Swift's song “So High School.” Kelce co-designed the engagement ring with jeweler Kindred Lubeck, featuring an old mine-cut diamond set in a gold band with antique references.

The relationship between the Grammy winner and the three-time Super Bowl champion first gained public attention in 2023 when Kelce revealed on his podcast, "New Heights," that he had attempted to connect with Swift during her Eras Tour stop in Kansas City that year. Swift attended her first Chiefs game in September 2023.

Kelce, who considered retirement after the Chiefs' playoff absence last season, stated in a March appearance on “The Pat McAfee Show” that Swift's influence played a role in his decision to return for his 14th NFL season. He has spent his entire professional career with the Chiefs.
