Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce reportedly employed stringent security measures at their wedding, held on July 3 at Madison Square Garden. Sources indicate that guests were subjected to scans for secret recording devices, including Meta smart glasses, and were required to surrender their phones upon entry.

This effort to prevent leaks extended to NYPD officers on duty at the venue, who also handed over their phones for the duration of their shifts. Representatives for Swift did not immediately respond to requests for comment.

The wedding, which drew an estimated 1,000 guests, featured a notable celebrity turnout. Attendees included Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens, Karlie Kloss and Joshua Kushner, and Vanessa Bryant with her daughter Natalia. Cindy Crawford and Kaia Gerber attended together, as did Jessica Alba with Danny Ramirez. Musicians such as Jay-Z, Dua Lipa, Selena Gomez, Ed Sheeran, and Camila Cabello were also present, alongside director Steven Spielberg.

Sources close to the couple have suggested that professional camera crews were present to document the event. Footage captured is intended for a special film, which will reportedly cover the wedding's planning stages through to the ceremony itself. This finished product is slated to be sent to guests as a token of appreciation.

Swift and Kelce, both 36, announced their engagement in August 2025. Swift first publicly addressed their relationship in her 2023 Time Person of the Year interview, describing their dynamic as "just two people supporting each other doing what we love."
