Fans hoping for a crossover event between Taylor Sheridan's "Yellowstone" spinoffs, "Marshals" and "Dutton Ranch," may have cause for optimism, as key actors have voiced their support for such a collaboration. Luke Grimes, who plays Kayce Dutton on "Marshals," stated that a reunion with his on-screen sister Beth, portrayed by Kelly Reilly, is "not out of the question."

"Beth's basically Kayce's only living family member other than Tate," Grimes told TV Insider. "It would make sense that down the line we'd at least talk." He added that he and Reilly have discussed the possibility extensively, viewing it as "fun and necessary for our story arcs, however they're going to end."

Reilly and Cole Hauser, who plays Rip Wheeler on "Dutton Ranch," have previously shared similar sentiments. Hauser expressed a desire to work with Grimes again, noting their close bond during their time on the original "Yellowstone" series. "If there's a way to somewhere down the road do something special where he comes and visits us or if we go to Montana, great," Hauser said.

Reilly echoed this, stating her character Beth misses her brother and that she and Hauser are advocating for more "Yellowstone" cast members to be involved in the spinoffs. "We were all very close. We were a family, and we miss them very much," Reilly said.

While a direct reunion between Kayce, Beth, and Rip in the upcoming "Marshals" Season 2 is unlikely, as "Marshals" is set to return on October 4, the possibility remains for future seasons. "Dutton Ranch" is expected to begin filming its second season in 2027.

Characters like Jamie Dutton and Monica Dutton are less likely to appear in a crossover scenario, given their fates in the original series and "Marshals" Season 1 premiere, respectively. However, other "Yellowstone" actors such as Gil Birmingham and Mo Brings Plenty have already reprised their roles on "Marshals," suggesting room for further integration.

Sheridan himself is expected to have a more active role in "Dutton Ranch" Season 2, according to Reilly, who told The Dallas Morning News that the show's creator is keen on shaping the next season's direction. This increased involvement could pave the way for a more cohesive narrative across the interconnected series.
