Taylor Sheridan Celebrates 13th Anniversary with Lavish Party at Yellowstone's Iconic 6666 Ranch
The 'Yellowstone' creator hosted a surprise celebration for his wife, Nicole Muirbrook, at the sprawling Texas ranch featured in his hit series.
Taylor Sheridan, the mastermind behind the acclaimed Western drama 'Yellowstone,' recently marked his 13th wedding anniversary with a surprise celebration for his wife, Nicole Muirbrook. The opulent event took place at the iconic 6666 Ranch in Guthrie, Texas, a property prominently featured in the series.
Muirbrook, a model, shared glimpses of the lavish party on Instagram, showcasing intimate moments with Sheridan and the picturesque setting. "Our love story has a pretty damn good supporting cast," she captioned one of her posts, highlighting the ranch as a significant backdrop to their celebration. The surprise party was held at the same ranch where a planned 'Yellowstone' spinoff was recently canceled.
The couple, who tied the knot in 2013, celebrated their milestone with friends and family at the main cabin of the sprawling 266,000-acre ranch, which Sheridan purchased for $330 million. Photos from the event showed Sheridan and Muirbrook sharing affectionate moments, alongside elegantly decorated dining tables and a multi-course menu.
Sheridan, 56, acquired the historic Four Sixes ranch in January 2022 after closing a deal with Paramount. This allowed him to fund the purchase of the property, which had been in the same family for over 150 years. The ranch, nearly twice the size of Chicago, served as a backdrop for several episodes of 'Yellowstone's' fourth season.
Beyond 'Yellowstone,' Sheridan has created other popular series under his exclusive Paramount deal, including 'Mayor of Kingstown,' 'Lioness,' 'Landman,' 'Tulsa King,' and 'The Madison,' as well as 'Yellowstone' spinoffs '1883' and '1923.'
Reflecting on his journey, Sheridan has previously spoken about periods of homelessness and living out of his car while striving to break into Hollywood. He shared that he chose to pursue his dream despite these hardships, opting to sleep in his car rather than take a full-time job.
Sheridan met Muirbrook in 2009 when she hired him as an acting coach. They welcomed their son, Gus, in 2010, and married in 2013. The couple later decided to leave Los Angeles to raise their son in a more rural environment. Sheridan has credited his wife and son with influencing his career pivot from acting to screenwriting, emphasizing a desire to set a strong example for his child.
