Taylor Lautner and Wife Tay Welcome First Child, Daughter Lennon

Actor Taylor Lautner and his wife, Tay Lautner, have welcomed their first child, a daughter named Lennon Taylor Lautner. The couple announced the birth on Wednesday, sharing a photo of their newborn.

Baby Lennon was born on September 16. "One week loving our sweet little Lenny," the couple captioned the announcement on Instagram.

Lautner, known for his role in the Twilight film series, first announced his wife's pregnancy in March with a social media post featuring a sonogram.

The couple's relationship began after Lautner was introduced to Tay by his sister. They became Instagram official in 2018 and announced their engagement in November 2021. Lautner proposed with an elaborate display of flowers and candles.

Taylor Lautner and Tay married in November 2022 at a winery in Paso Robles, California. At the time of their wedding, Tay noted the significance of both partners sharing the name Taylor, with the officiant humorously acknowledging the union as "Mr. and Mrs. Taylor Lautner."

In a January interview, the couple discussed their plans for children, with Tay stating that while they hadn't yet experienced difficulties, there was no pressure surrounding the topic. Lautner expressed his readiness, saying, "I'm ready when she is. I think we're getting closer."

Regarding the possibility of their children entering the acting profession, Lautner indicated reservations but acknowledged he wouldn't prohibit a child from pursuing a passion. "I feel like you can’t say, 'No, I'm not going to allow you to do something that you feel passionate about,'" he said, adding that he would likely suggest other options first.
