Tate McRae Launches Debut Fragrance, Tate 01
The pop star unveiled her first perfume, Tate 01, with a campaign featuring a beachside photoshoot.
Pop singer Tate McRae has launched her first fragrance, Tate 01, in partnership with Scent Beauty, Inc. The scent is described as "effortless, subtly edgy, and perfectly you."
To mark the release, McRae shared a campaign featuring a series of black-and-white photographs taken by Mario Sorrenti. In the images, McRae is depicted in various beachside and water settings, sometimes wading in the ocean or posing near geometric structures.
"In my beauty routine, fragrance is that final invisible layer that elevates my entire mood," McRae stated in a press release. "With Tate 01, I set out to craft a scent that feels entirely second-skin: effortless, subtly edgy, and perfectly you."
The fragrance opens with notes of sparkling bergamot and clary sage. Its heart features orange flower and hedoine, while the base notes include sensual moss and creamy tonka. A notable ingredient in Tate 01 is ISO E Super, a synthetic molecule designed to interact with individual skin chemistry to create a unique scent for each wearer.
McRae mentioned that she enjoys wearing the fragrance during rehearsals, noting that "the scent warms up and moves with my body, allowing me to feel confident."
